Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Analyst to join our Application Support team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of the team, you will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical digital asset and blockchain platforms that drive the future of finance.

The successful candidate will provide Level 2 production support for business-critical digital asset and blockchain applications, act as the escalation point for complex issues, manage incidents and changes, collaborate across global teams, and drive continuous service improvement through automation, monitoring, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for business-critical digital asset and blockchain applications.
• Act as the escalation point for complex application and production issues.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, and releases in line with ITIL practices.
• Ensure the reliability, stability, availability, and performance of mission-critical platforms.
• Troubleshoot application issues across UNIX/Linux, SQL, and Java environments.
• Perform enterprise scheduling and monitoring using tools including ITRS Geneos and AutoSys.
• Collaborate with global teams across Technology, DevOps, Business, and Infrastructure.
• Drive continuous service improvement through automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience in Application Production Support within Financial Markets.
• Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux and SQL.
• Experience with enterprise scheduling and monitoring tools including ITRS Geneos and AutoSys.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Java troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology fundamentals.
• Experience with cryptocurrency ecosystems and digital asset platforms.
• Knowledge of crypto wallet management, including Hot, Cold, and Hardware Wallets.
• Understanding of Private Key and Seed Phrase security principles.
• Knowledge of Tokenomics and Digital Asset lifecycle management.
• Understanding of AML/KYC regulatory requirements within Digital Assets.
• Experience working with modern technologies and solving complex technical challenges.
